LWP.ca on Hiatus

23 03 2011

Hey everyone,

Lone Wolf Productions.ca is gearing down from the 2010 season at the moment.  However, there is no reason to be disappointed!  We will be back for the 2011 season stronger than ever.  What started out as a test project for me is turning into something with some momentum now.  We were blessed to make some really great new connections with people within the industry this year as well as strengthen our already exiting ones.  I will bring you more about official sponsors, and riders very soon, but I promise it’s going to be huge.

I have made some investments in camera gear this year as well in hopes that we can bring you a more polished looking finished product for 2011.  I have aquired a new Canon 7D, Canon Rebel T2i, as well as with a few home made gadgets to go along with it.  One of our editors Karl Heldt has also purchased the same camera with some more professional looking gear than mine and thanks to rider request will be shooting for Lone Wolf Productions.ca with it in 2011.

I would like to thank everyone that we had a chance to be involved with from the riders, sponsors, camera men, editors, and most of all the fans for an excellent first year.  It was exciting to see things progress and I’m glad you were all along for the ride.  I will keep releasing bits of info on the blog, facebook group, and Twitter as time goes on.  Keep an eye on pinkbike.com as well for the official press releases for our 2011 season coming in the spring.

Aggy…The Interview

9 03 2011

If you are at all into riding you likely know who Graham Agassiz is.  Aggy is a globe trotting rock star, and he is everywhere you wanna be.  I had some time to ask Aggy a few questions after finishing his segment for www.lonewolfproductions.ca, and this is how it went down.

Name: Graham Agassiz “Aggy”

Age: 21, old enough!

Many people see you as a contest rider, I of course know better than that, but let’s humor people. What is your favorite contest to go to?

AGGY: Haha yeaah a lot of people do just see me as a contest rider, which sucks.  I do love riding in contests, riding new courses,  and riding with friends I don’t normally get to ride with, but if you got to know

me my heart is in the mountains.  Chatel mountain style and Rampage… real mountain bike contests are my favorite!

Most people have seen you riding at the infamous Brads yard.   What is your favorite stunt in the whole place and why?

AGGY: The new “slayer” jump I think is my favorite right now.  He just finished it last year and it scares the shit out of me every time I hit it!  I think that’s why I love it, because its just that gnarly!

What do you do in the off season?

AGGY: Snowboard! Eeii eeii eeiiiiiii

Hottest girl you’ve ever hooked up with on a scale of 1 to 10….and don’t say 10?

AGGY: 9 3/4

Ugliest Girl 1 to 10 and don’t say 10 haha?

AGGY: Aagghhh hahaha 7 ?

Rate me on a scale of 1 to 10 hahaha

AGGY: Your a ten in my books boss!

Favorite Drink?

AGGY: Monster Energy! Haha or.. Jack n coke

Do you have any new projects that you are working on for 2011 that you can talk about?….pssstt you can mention your Lone Wolf Seggy?

AGGY: My lone wolf seggy is going to be siiicckk! There’s some talk of some real big jumps, isn’t that so Matt!?  The rest is all hush hush for now!

Do you have a training regiment or are you so gnarly that you don’t need that?

AGGY: Haha, aahh I like to keep in shape for sure. I definitely don’t go to the gym as much as I used to or like to though.  Being a freerider, the best kind of training is just being on your bike.

Who are your top shred pals?

AGGY: Sorge, Gully, Lorney, AP…

If you could only do one for the rest of your life which would you choose, dirt jumping of free ride?

AGGY: freeride or die!

Your on camera a lot.  If you were given the chance to be on a reality show like The Real World would you do it?

AGGY: Hahaha aagghh I dunno..

Favorite condiment and why?

AGGY: JD bbq sauce on everything!

When you watch tv is it drama or comedy?

AGGY: Comedy

What’s your favorite article of clothing that you own right now?

AGGY: haha, my denim vest I got from value village!

Have you encountered any crazy super fans?

AGGY: Ooo yea, haha got a few good stories but maybe not the right time to be telling them.

Awesome well that wraps it up I think.  Thanks for taking the time out of your day which would have probably otherwise consisted of waking up at noon and either riding or snow boarding to do this interview haha.  Any sponsor shout outs?

AGGY: Five Ten Shoes, Sombrio Clothing, Kona Bikes, Skull Candy, Giro, Smith, Monster Energy Drinks, Sensus, Bicycle Rockers, and the Bicycle Cafe.
